It’s that time of the year again when the global film community comes together in Cannes. Dimension will have several of our team on the ground at the Marché Du Film, joining panels, presenting some exciting new innovations, and showcasing upcoming projects with our producing partners.
Thursday 15th May, 14:00 - Presenting a brand new VP solution
Dimension CTO Callum Macmillan will be taking to the Virtual Production Conference & Showcase Stage as part of Cannes Next, a series of conferences that visitors can attend to discover the innovations that are changing filmmaking.
Callum will be taking part in a session powered by Roe Visual, a partner of ours in the virtual production services we deliver. Here he’ll be presenting a brand new solution from Dimension Futures that takes virtual production to the next level.

Friday 16th May, 11:30 - Production at Cinecitta
Co-CEO Steve Jelley will also be on site, joining ‘Global Conversations’, a summit organised by Variety Magazine. Here Steve will join our studio partners Cinecitta to talk about the growth of Italy as a filmmaking destination. Alongside Steve the panel will feature Cinecittà's CEO, Manuela Cacciamani, and Nicola Borrelli from the Directorate-General for Cinema.

Sunday 18th May, 10.00 - Accelerating Creativity with AWS
The second of Steve Jelley’s speaking sessions will see him joining AWS’s half day season on cloud production, also part of Cannes Next. Steve will be on stage to detail how we use the cloud for our virtual production services in a talk entitled Expanding the Creative Horizon with VFX and Virtual Production in the Cloud.
