“Markerless Mocap: Direct Your Own Film Live in Realtime”

Direct your own full-performance production visualisation shoot, live in realtime, all within Unreal Engine. Participants can direct motion capture actors and see the incredible results on screen, with environments and characters crafted by Dimension Studio – a realtime production studio. Powered by Vicon’s markerless motion capture, this session offers a hands-on experience with advancements for anyone to perform without the need for suits or markers.

This session offers a first look at the transformative technologies shaping the future of realtime animation and previsualisation. By removing friction in data acquisition workflows, these tools enable creators to make more informed, creative decisions earlier. Whether you’re a filmmaker, animator, or curious creative, this experience will inspire the possibilities of modern motion capture.
