From November 20th to 25th, BFX has curated an impressive lineup of masterclasses, exclusive screenings, insightful industry discussions, hands-on workshops, and tailored recruitment events for the next wave of talent. Exclusive screening: Fireworks
“Fireworks” is a political thriller directed by the double-Oscar-winning Paul Franklin. Filmed within an LED volume, this state-of-the-art short film stars Charlotte Riley and promises to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Speaker session: Volumetric capture and digital humans in real-time and film production
At the centre of Whitney Houston biopic “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” are performances with crowds upwards of 70,000 people, taking place over a period of 40 years. Callum Macmillan and Simon Windsor present the collaborative new process using volumetric video to generate these authentic audiences, and explore the potential for advanced digital humans in film and TV.
