Rome Wasn’t Built in a Day: Virtual Production Talks for ‘Those About to Die’
The creative minds behind Peacock and Amazon Prime’s epic show ‘Those About to Die’ are set to share insights into the production at the upcoming VIEW Conference and Mercato Internazionale Audiovisivo in Italy.
Directed by Roland Emmerich, ‘Those About to Die’ is set during political unrest in the Roman Empire, and stars Anthony Hopkins and Iwan Rheon. The show fully embraced virtual production, resulting in Dimension and DNEG 360 delivering 1,800 final pixel shots.
Our Executive Producer, Neil Graham, will be visiting Italy for the Mercato Internazionale Audiovisivo (MIA), where he’ll present insights from production, advancements in the tech and how this can support wider applications for film and episodic. He’ll be joined by Luno Studio’s Director & CCO Max Rocchetti on the 16th of October at MIA.
If you can’t make MIA, Max Rocchetti will be presenting solo at the View Conference on the 18th of October. You can find full event details below.
Catch the below talk at VIEW Conference and MIA Festival.
